Well it was an awesome time at Life Group today!
The main topic of discussion was Jack Duty. There was a lot of emotion in the room as Tom Webb discussed Jack’s wonderful attitude about his current situation. I did not get to know Jack very well, but you can get a good sense of a person by the way people talk about him. He has impacted many people for the betterment of Christ. He will be missed by all, God’s blessings to Jack and Erma.
It was a lively time at the Webb’s. Tom made a mean pork roast, and Ruth was as gracious a host as ever. She gets to put up with me rummaging in her fridge for some sort of condiment, which I found out that Tom Jeffers shares a fondness for sauces. A good time was had by all.
